Battle Ground HealthCare has purchased a new building!
Earlier this year, BGHC was awarded $1,087, 043 in Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) funds which allowed us to begin negotiating a purchase and sale agreement for this amazing new location.
The new building is located at 1910 SW 9th Ave, Battle Ground, WA,  previously served as a Legacy Health Clinic. With over 7,600 square feet, this new space will allow for additional dental bays, medical exam rooms, physical rehabilitation therapy rooms, and meeting space. It also includes space for a vaccine clinic. The new location is situated along a primary bus route, increasing access for people in the community who rely on public transportation. The high visibility of the new location will also raise awareness about the organization and the services we offer.
“This new building, along with other funding this year, provides us with new opportunities to help decrease the health disparities we see in our community” says Adam Lee, Board President. “We’re so grateful for the support we’ve seen from city, county and state officials. Their recognition of the need to build health equity for Clark County residents is so important. This new building represents a dramatic jump in our ability to provide the life-changing care our mission calls on us to provide.”
Tenant improvements are currently underway in the new location and set to be complete by the end of July. The transition to the new clinic begins in August and services will be offered in the new location in September of this year. Big, big thank you to the BGHC Board of Directors for their leadership and commitment to making this happen! It’s a huge win for the entire community.
