Jens Metzger, Medical Director
Jens serves BGHC as the medical director and medical provider. As medical director, he coordinates efforts with our Executive Director to continue the process of adjusting and improving the care we provide. As a medical provider, he has the opportunity to listen to our clients and help identify how we can best be of service to them.
Outside of BGHC, Jens works as a part time internal medicine primary care provider at the Vancouver Clinic and part time stay at home Dad for his children Ben, age 11, and Emma, age 8. He and his wife are blessed to be able to each have a front row seat to watching the children grow and learn. He is active through the Battle Ground Methodist Church. In free time, he enjoys the Northwest beauty from beach to mountains, family time, and gardening.
Peter Bascetta, Director
Peter served 2 years active duty in the army and 2 years in the reserves. Peter graduated with a degree in Engineering Technology from the California State Polytechnic University and went to work for Hughes Aircraft in Los Angeles after graduation. Following that he went to work for a company out of Salem Oregon before moving to the Battle Ground area in 1996. He was the construction superintendent for the 1st phase of Glenn Wood Place behind the Vancouver Mall and finished the Ashley Inn which is attached to The Hampton Memory Care Community. Peter and his wife have one daughter who went to school in the area, graduated from Walla Walla University, and recently married. His wife is an RN who works at the VA Vancouver Campus. Peter is on the Battle Ground Health Care clinic board and serves the clinic as the Community Adisor and Development Leader.
Carolyn Noack, Director
As an experienced Dental Hygienist in private practice dentistry for over 35 years, Carolyn Noack brings expertise and creativity in providing dental care low-income/uninsured patients in the non-profit setting. Community partnerships and collaboration have been hallmarks of Carolyn’s non-profit work. Program development and community partnerships have expanded during her employment at the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys running, reading, hiking and watching sports.
